How do I get my DVLA licence check code?

What do I need to hire a van?
You’ll need a full valid UK driving licence, held for at least 12 months, plus a second form of ID (such as a utility bill or passport).
What age do I need to be to hire a van?
We require drivers to be at least 22 years old and no older than 80. Insurance premium may alter due to drivers age / circumstances.
Do I need a special license to drive a van?
If you hold a standard UK Category B licence, you can drive most vans up to 3.5 tonnes.
Is insurance included in the hire price?
Yes, fully comprehensive insurance is usually included, but excess charges may apply.
Can I take the van abroad?
Unfortunately we don't cover European travel.
Do I need to refuel the van before returning it?
Yes, vans must be returned with the same fuel level as when collected.
What happens if the van breaks down?
Roadside assistance is included. In the event of a breakdown, contact the number provided in your hire pack.
What documents do I need when collecting the van?

Can I collect or drop the van off out of working hours?
Yes – we offer flexible out-of-hours collection and return options to make your hire experience as convenient as possible. Whether you need an early morning pick-up or a late-night drop-off, just let us know in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule. Please note that out-of-hours arrangements must be confirmed prior to your booking and may be subject to availability and additional terms.
Is there secure parking for my car whilst I hire a van?
Yes, we have secure, off-road overnight parking whilst you hire one of our vans.
What time do I collect the van?
Half day hire is either 8.30am-12.30am, or 1pm-5pm.
Full day hire is 8.30am-8.30am (the following day), or 4.45pm-4.45pm (the following day).
